Phone-based restoration coaching

Focused support for a goal you are ready to work on.

Coaching is an optional accountability partnership. We walk alongside you as you name the goal, understand what is getting in the way, choose practical next steps, and build tools you can continue using independently.

The purpose of coaching

Progress is measured by growing clarity, capability, and independence.

Wounded But Wiser coaching offers an accountability partner—not an end-all solution. Your coach walks alongside you, helps you apply practical tools, and supports follow-through while you remain the person responsible for your choices and your work.

Coaching is not designed to keep clients enrolled indefinitely around the same goal. The work is meant to help you practice useful skills, make grounded decisions, and move toward completing the goal you came to address.

If you return later, the hope is that you are ready to work on a new goal or a new season—not because you were taught to depend on coaching.

1
Clarify

Name the goal, context, and desired outcome.

2
Understand

Identify patterns, obstacles, strengths, and boundaries.

3
Practice

Choose realistic actions and tools for daily life.

4
Carry forward

Use what you learned with increasing independence.

Two valid ways to begin

Use the restoration tools independently or add accountability support.

Coaching is available when human support would help, but it is never required to make the Wounded But Wiser products useful.

Self-paced restoration

Your journey, your timing

Wounded But Wiser Journeys and practical products are designed to stand on their own. Work privately at your own pace, revisit the material when needed, and continue without deadlines, appointments, or a coaching requirement.

What happens in a session

A practical conversation with a clear purpose.

You do not need to arrive with perfect words. Bring the goal or situation you want to understand and be willing to participate honestly in the work.

Before

Prepare the focus

For a first booking, complete the protected intake form and coaching agreement. Choose a private place where you can speak by phone.

During

Explore and organize

Discuss the goal, relevant patterns, options, boundaries, and practical next steps. Coaching may include reflection questions and structured tools.

After

Practice what matters

Leave with a clearer next step or practice. The work between sessions belongs to you and supports lasting capability.

Progress

Review and adjust

Future sessions can review what worked, what changed, and what needs refinement—without turning coaching into indefinite dependence.

Is this appropriate for you?

Coaching fits people who want to participate in change.

It may fit if you have a goal you can name, want structured support, are willing to reflect and practice, and understand that the coach does not make decisions for you.

It may not fit if you need emergency support, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or another licensed service. Coaching is educational and goal-focused; it is not therapy, medical care, legal advice, or crisis care.

✓
A defined goal

You have something specific you want to understand, decide, practice, or change.

✓
Active participation

You are willing to reflect, make choices, and try appropriate next steps.

✓
Respect for scope

You understand what coaching can do and when another kind of support is needed.
